ABOUT TRAVIS SHARPE

A LITTLE BACKGROUND

The first time I ever met a homeless person I was scared to death! I was a young Bible College student and I thought that it was a complete accident, meeting someone that was homeless. But I couldn’t have been more wrong!

That first meeting, in 1996, actually changed the course of my entire life.

I began to minister to the homeless after that first meeting and I have never looked back. I absolutely love the calling that God has placed on my life.

WHAT AM I PASSIONATE ABOUT?

I am passionate about ministering to the homeless and telling them about my Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am also passionate about helping other men and women who have a desire to minister to the homeless.

When I first began in this type of ministry, I had tons of questions but no one to look up to. Everything I have learned about ministering to the homeless has been by trial and error (sometimes more error!).

Now, with 18 years of real life experience, I love to share the things I have learned.

Through my blog, I help other people who minister to the homeless.
