Disaster Relief Trailers

IMG_0623We purchased two semi trailers while we were working in Moore, OK after the tornadoes in May. Special thanks to Moore Baptist Temple for paying for one of them!
They have remained in Moore and been used as storage and distribution holding areas at Moore Baptist Temple.
We are now ready to bring these trailers home to Alabama and put them to work in our disaster relief program. The smaller (28 ft) trailer will be used in conjunction with our mobile kitchen. We plan to put freezers and refrigerators in it for cold food storage. It will also be outfitted with a generator and a dozen or so crates to sort and keep our bulk canned and dry foods in.
IMG_0390The larger trailer will be used for storage and to transport relief supplies as needed. Both trailers are road worthy but need a little work, some paint and materials to make them into what we need. We estimate the total cost to get these home and outfitted for our use to be around $6500. Please consider a special gift to our disaster relief fund today to help us get these units on the road ASAP!
