Honduras team is on the move!

Tonight (Friday July, 5) we are headed to the Atlanta Airport to catch our first flight early in the morning for Honduras. April, Sarah, Hunter, Adrienne Barbee and myself are going on this trip. We will join my sister and brother in law, Pam and Mark Mitchell. They are the leaders of the trip.

We will also be joined by several others from their church as well as missionaries in Honduras. We will be there for ten days. Our plans are to hold VBS, install a water purification system, teach, preach, and much more.

This will be my second time visiting Honduras so I am excited to get back. The kids are super excited about this because it’s their first time to travel outside the U.S. Sarah is ready to fly for the first time!

I want to personally thank those of you who gave for this trip. I really had doubts as to wither or not we would be able to raise enough money to go. But once again, the Lord has truly blessed us with such great people to help. In fact, God really reminded me again that He is in control! Bottom line is that when He says go, He already has things lined out!

We won’t get any sleep tonight so I’m sure I will be tired by the time we get there late tomorrow afternoon. Help us pray for safe travels but most of all that we would bring glory to God and share Christ with all we can.

God bless and thanks for reading- Travis
