I got the cart before the horse!

Don’t laugh, you’ve done it too. Here’s what I did. Earlier this year I published a curriculum called the Good Samaritan Plan. It is an awesome four step plan that I wrote to help churches have a plan when it comes to ministering to the homeless.

So what’s the problem?

The problem is that I wrote the curriculum before the book. I wrote this material in a workbook format that I can take to churches and teach in a classroom setting. Now that’s not a bad thing. The bad thing is that I came out with that BEFORE the book.

It seems as though folks want to know what what the course is all about before they put together a class to teach it. I don’t blame them either!

So, with that thought in mind, I am now working on the Good Samaritan Plan in book format. It might turn out to be an E-book or maybe something that we self publish, I don’t know.

But anyway, I wrote a good deal today in the first step about what to do when we first meet a person who is homeless. It’s called “4 tips for your first meeting with a homeless person.”

Today I gave that away free in an email to all of our email list subscribers. That’s right, absolutely fee!

I would like to share this excerpt with you as well. All you have to do is sign up for my email list and I’ll be happy to send it to you. And don’t worry, you can unsubscribe at any time too.
