Special Report From The Coatesville, PA Resource Clinic

Wow! The Lord certainly did bless our first resource clinic of the year. Our set up team arrived at City Gate Mission here in Coatesville, PA at 7:30 this morning. There is lots of things to do during the set up; tents, tables, chairs, food, drinks, and everything else must all be put into place and made ready. Thankfully, our hard working leadership team makes it look easy.

After everything was set up, we gathered for final instructions and prayer.

Next, we enjoyed a powerful message about choices by pastor Gary Moore from Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church.

After the service, it was time for lunch. April Sharpe and Bekah Dixon were in charge of getting the BBQ served to all the hungry guests. We use volunteers to carry the plates to the tables and it’s a lot like eating in a restaurant. Within about ten minutes everyone was eating.

After lunch, we opened the resource stations. Our guests had access to haircuts, medical care, Bibles, reading glasses, clothing, birth certificates, resumes and more. The children enjoyed the face painting booth.

We want to extend a BIG thank you to all of our hard working leadership team and volunteers who came out to make today’s event happen. These awesome events truly are team efforts and we are thankful that God has blessed us with faithful servants who love people.
