Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great today. I am writing this update from Ripley, MS. Our family was invited to be a part of the annual missions conference at Unity Baptist Church and so far it has been great. The conference began on Wednesday evening and will conclude on Sunday morning. There are several missionary families here and it has been a real joy to get to know them.
I’d like to tell you a little about our week as well as some upcoming events, so, here goes.
Successful Resource Clinic in PA
Our annual resource clinic at City Gate Mission in Coatesville, PA was a last Saturday and it was very successful. We had about 270 people in attendance and 94 volunteers who made everything run smoothly. There was a great meal of fried fish, hush puppies, french fries, hotdogs and hamburgers. Past or Steve Dixon and his wife Bekah headed that up and they did a tremendous job.
Here are the results from the day:
28 received medical attention
Special thanks to Porters Grove Baptist Church, Nottingham Mission Baptist Church and GPA Mobilization Ministries for making this great day happen. We also couldn’t have done this without our resource clinic team leaders who help lead the event. I’d like to introduce them to you now.
Our Resource Clinic Leaders
Steve and Bekah Dixon were in charge of food preparation and serving.
Denny Mitchell was in charge of evangelism and his wife Melissa worked as the resource supervisor assistant along with Tara.
Tara Philyaw was the resource supervisor. She made sure the different booths had all their paperwork.
Eddie and Kathy Crusenberry were in charge of registering all the guests and volunteers.
Hunter and April worked in several areas all day.
Next Resource Clinic is May 14 in Toccoa, GA
We are excited to partner with Pastor Jodi Garrison and Crosstown Church on May 14 for our next resource clinic. Crosstown is a very new church and it is right in the heart of this small North GA town. It’s a tremendous opportunity to reach many people who live within a stones throw of the church.
Because Crosstown is a new church, we will be taking on almost all of the costs for this resource clinic. We want to be a help to the church and a blessing to the community as well. Several of our leaders are bringing different things to help for the big event and you can help as well. We need a few people who will partner with us by giving a donation that we will use to underwrite the event. If you feel led to help, you can make a secure online donation here.

2016 Golf Marathon
Plans are coming together for our first ever golf marathon fundraiser. It will be held on May 28th at the Cullman Golf Course in Cullman, AL. Our golfers have been busy raising their support and things are going well. All of the money raised from this event will go toward phase one of our three phase plan in the Philippines. Phase one is the building of a safe home for runaway and orphaned children. You can be a part of this by sponsoring a golfer of just making a donation to add to the total. Just visit this page on our website to give.
