Ministry Update 11-5-14 Tickets purchased and opportunity to ship clothing

Hey there!

I hope you have had a great start to your November. Our family has been pretty busy in the last couple of weeks and I’m sure you have been too. I preached revival services Sunday-Wednesday last week at Canaan Baptist Church in Augusta, GA. We had good crowds every service and I think two or three salvations.

Then, this past Sunday I spoke at Woodridge Baptist Church in Clearwater, SC in the am service and at Berean Baptist Church in Hephzibah, GA that evening. I am always grateful for the opportunity to preach and share what the Lord is doing in our ministry.

This Saturday we leave for Blackshear, GA where we will be in revival Sunday-Wednesday. Please help us pray for a great move of God during those services.

Our flights are scheduled and tickets are purchased

Last week we were finally able to get our flights scheduled for the Philippines. We had to adjust the dates a little in order to get our full five months in but I think it has worked out great.

We now will be leaving on January 4th and returning on June 2nd. We are super excited to have these tickets purchased. It won’t be long now!

Clothing opportunity

Thanks to our friends Mickey and Cookie Johnson, we now have the opportunity to ship brand new clothing to the Philippines for the children we are ministering to. They started a new ministry not too long ago called Project 61:3. They have thousands of pieces of new clothing that they give to missionaries to be used on the mission field and they have made available to us all the clothing we can use!

It will cost $110 per box to ship the clothes over and we are hoping to send several boxes. These clothes are brand new and will be a huge blessing to the little children who barely have anything at all.

If you want to get involved with this and help to ship the boxes, you can donate by clicking here or by mailing a donation. Just use the PO box listed below.

We welcome you to sponsor a whole box, half a box or part of a box.

Update on our trip fund raiser- $6,000 already given!

We started out with a goal of raising $25,000 for our Philippines trip. So far you have given around $6000 which leaves a remaining amount of $19,000.

Our goal is to raise this before we leave in January. Since we have already purchased our plane tickets, the remainder of the money will go to pay for the rent on the new ministry center and initial start up costs.

If you feel led to help us reach our goal, now would be a great time! You can give online here, or mail in your gift to the PO box listed below.

We are really looking forward to getting there and getting started. Thank you for your help!

This week

This week we are applying for our Philippine visas. Please help us pray that everything goes smooth with that and we get them back ASAP.

Thank you so much for your prayers and your concern for others. Our main goal, and I’m sure yours as well, is to share the gospel with as many people as possible. Thank you for helping to make that a reality.
