Ministry Update 4-8-16

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great. We are all very well here at the Sharpe household. As you know, our kids, Hunter and Sarah, went on a mission trip to Honduras recently. I just picked them up from the airport in Atlanta last night and we are happy to be together again.

April and I want to thank each of you who helped support them on their trip. They had a great experience and everything went as planned. Hopefully I will be able to share a few pictures with you and give you a detailed report in a few days! It’s awesome for April and I to know that God has blessed us with children who want to serve the Lord and serve others like they do.

Revival And Resource Clinic Ahead

We will leave tomorrow (Saturday) and head for Nokesville, VA, where I will be preaching revival services Sunday through Wednesday. I am excited to be in these services with our friends Zach and Dawn Morrison. Zach, who pastors the church, and his wife Dawn have been involved in the Philippines ministry and are great supporters. Dawn helps at the medical clinics and it’s always a joy to work with them.

After the revival is over, we will head on up to Pennsylvania for our first resource clinic of the year at City Gate Mission. We will do this big ministry day in conjunction with Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, Porters Grove Baptist Church, City Gate Mission and GPA Mobilization Ministries. The event will be held at City Gate Mission In Coatesville, PA.

The churches I mentioned above minister each week at the City Gate Mission by serving meals and preaching in the chapel services. Our part, once a year, is helping these churches put on a big day where we provide valuable resources such as haircuts, resumes, birth certificates, medical check ups, reading glasses and more. We will have a full church service with singing, preaching, prayer and counseling. Last year there were over 300 people in attendance. There are always dozens of children who come to enjoy the day.

You can support this event by making a donation on our website here. We need an additional $1,500 to make this upcoming event a success.

Our next event will be in Toccoa, GA on May 14th. We might need some volunteers for that one so be on the lookout for more information to come.

Thanks so much for your prayers and gifts that keep Unsheltered International running smoothly and helping lots of people.
