Every year in March, our ministry does a live benefit. It's a lot like a share-a-thon and we do it online with myself and April as the main hosts. The live benefit is set for March 9, 2023.
This live benefit, as we call it, makes up about 50% of our annual budget. This helps us to keep all of our ministries running for our fiscal year which begins on March 1st.
I want to share with you a couple distinct opportunities to invest in this annual event and help us reach our goal of $150,000.
HEADLINE SPONSORS
We are seeking five headline sponsors who will invest a minimum of $2,500. This gives us a real boost and helps us get underway. Headline sponsors give their gift in January or February but we need to know soon so we can use it in our advertisements.
BROUGHT TO YOU BY SPONSOR
We are seeking one sponsor to be our "brought to you by" sponsor. This is a $10,000 gift and can be from a church, business, or family. It can even be in honor or in memory of someone. We would like to have this sponsorship secured as soon as possible in order to use it on all our advertisements.
MATCHING FUNDS
Matching funds is a great way to encourage others to give. When you make a pledge to match a certain amount dollar-for-dollar, other donors will see that their gifts will be doubled! Matching donors can be known or unknown. (If you don't want us to publish your name we will respect that.) We like to know the matching funds ahead of time also so that we can use them to encourage others to give early.
