Hey everyone,
The Lord continues to bless our ministry. Below are some updates, but first I wanted to tell you about two special volunteers. Andrew and John come to our ministry center every Monday to help in the food pantry and clothing pantry. These boys are homeschooled and their parents are great role models as Christian servants. We appreciate them and have named them our volunteers of the month!
VILLAGE UPDATE
This has been a really good week for us here at the tiny-home village. Here are a few highlights.
The power distribution panel was finished. This is a large outdoor power panel that will distribute power to the first five homes. Now that this step is done, we have let the power company know that we are ready for the power poles and transformer.
We installed the sewer lines of the RV sites.
We were given a very nice fifth wheel camper. This camper will be used for staff housing at the village. See our Facebook page for pictures!
We ordered another home. Thanks to a generous donor, we were able to order another 14x32 home. It will be built and delivered in the next few weeks.
We are thrilled for this progress and are very thankful for those who have helped us.
GIVING CAMPAIGN UPDATE
As of today, we are at 980 lives impacted through our 2025 giving campaign donations. Here are some highlights.
The 2025 goal is 3,750 lives impacted.
It takes $40 to impact one life.
The $3,000 matching funds challenge has been met! Thank you!
We want to hit 2,000 lives impacted by the end of NEXT Thursday night’s share-a-thon.
The share-a-thon is part of the giving campaign and will be live on our Facebook page from 7-10 pm EST next Thursday.
We are asking our supporters to call in during that time with a gift or pledge to help us reach the goal of 2,000 lives impacted by the end of the night. As of now, we are only 1,020 lives impacted away from that goal!
