We are so grateful for how the Lord blessed our annual fundraiser last night. The generosity and support that was shown to our ministry was overwhelming to say the least.
As a matter of fact, the participation was so good, we moved our goal up from $100,000 to $125,000 and EXCEEDED that by $1,190!
When it was all said and done, you gave $126,190.
This outpouring of generosity will help us to have one of the best years ever and help more hurting people than ever before. I am excited to get to work and put this money to good use.
I am thankful to our entire board of directors who worked hard to share this opportunity with their friends and family. They have been working behind the scenes for several weeks and that hard work has paid off. A fundraiser like this is only possible when we all work together.
If you watched the broadcast last night, you might have heard me mention that just a few days ago we learned that one of the ladies we have been trying to get off the streets finally found a home. it took over eight months of working with her but praise God she is now housed and no longer living in her car! That effort alone took a whole lot of money. But it was worth every penny.
Thank you again for giving and helping us to help people. God sure is blessing and we sure are thankful.
