God Is at Work!

We are grateful for all that God is doing through Unsheltered International, and we want to share a few exciting updates with you.

Progress at the Tiny-Home Village

Our new Laundromat and Multipurpose Building continues to move forward! The spray foam insulation, electrical work, and plumbing are now complete, bringing us another step closer to putting this much-needed facility into service. Next up: sheetrock!

Once completed, this building will provide practical resources for our Village residents while also giving us additional space for classes, discipleship, meetings, and other activities that support residents as they work toward greater stability and independence.

Record Numbers at the Ministry Center

The need in our community continues to grow, and our incredible volunteers are stepping up to meet it.

In August, our volunteers served 150 households representing 365 people through our Ministry Center. We are seeing record numbers of individuals and families coming through our doors for food, clothing, encouragement, and other assistance. But the greatest impact cannot be measured by the number of food boxes or bags of clothing we distribute. So far this year, six people have accepted Christ as their Savior through the ministry of our Ministry Center!

That is why we do what we do. We want to meet practical needs while always pointing people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Feeding Children Around the World

The work also continues beyond our local community. Through our meal centers in the Philippines and Mexico, more than 1,000 children are being fed each month.

These meal centers provide more than a meal. They give us an opportunity to build relationships, share the Gospel, and remind children and families that they are loved and not forgotten.

Every one of these numbers represents a person—a neighbor who needed food, a Village resident working toward a better future, a child receiving a meal, or someone hearing about Jesus.
