This week’s update is about our local ministry to the unsheltered here in North Alabama.
Our team works diligently each week to bring the gospel to those whom God sends our way. They also work hard to provide basic needs such as food, clothing, counseling, and more.
We were all blessed last week to learn that a couple who we have ministered to for a few years now, have both been saved and baptized. The last time we saw them, they were in such bad shape that we feared for their lives. We lost touch for over a year until they came to see us last week.
They were so happy to tell us everything that God had done for them. It was truly a case of “some plant, some water, but God gives the increase.”
We thought that all our efforts had fallen on bad soil, but little did we know that God was using us to plant and water in their lives and he had a master plan!
Please pray for this couple as they learn to walk in the newness of life with the Lord!
Another gentleman named Gregg, told me this week that if it were not for our ministry helping him the last two months, he doesn’t know how he would have made it. It was awesome to hear his testimony.
During the ice storm last week, our team provided clothes, food, blankets, and jackets for over a dozen people who were in need. I’m glad we were able to help them. It’s only because of our generous ministry partners that we are able to provide the services we do, so thank you for helping and praying.
Please be much in prayer about our upcoming live benefit that culminates on March 7th. This week the Lord blessed us with our first donations which totaled $4,000. Glory to God!
