Mission trip opportunity

Praise God, I can finally announce that we are resuming our national ministry outreach this summer and we have planned a revival for the unsheltered in Augusta, GA. This will be our first national trip since we put them on pause during 2020. We are all excited and ready to go!

We will be partnering with Patrick Feistel and Garden City Rescue Mission for three days of revival services that will be specifically designed for people who are living on the streets. We need about 30-40 people to join us in order to make this trip work. This is the perfect trip for older youth, young adults, and others who are eager to serve.

The Sampson’s, pastor Clemon Chappell, and pastor Kenny Marr will be with us to sing and preach!

Here are some of the details:

Dates- June 17-20, 2024. Our first meeting will be Monday morning on June 17th, so you would want to arrive on Sunday evening the 16th. Nothing is planned for Sunday so you are free to arrive when you want to that afternoon/evening.

Activities- Cooking and serving meals. Visiting homeless camps. Passing out invitations and snack bags on the streets and in homeless camps. Providing resources like haircuts, clothes, reading glasses, etc. Singing and preaching. 

Who can participate- We are looking for youth groups (13 and up), couples, or individuals to come serve with us for the week. You do not have to be part of a group in order to come on this trip. 

Lodging- You will be responsible for your own lodging. You can book a local motel or VRBO. We will provide hotel information if we find one that will give a group rate.

Meals- Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day, you will be on your own for dinner each evening.

Cost- $125 per person.
