Thanksgiving meal
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we are ready! Our staff has planned a special Thanksgiving meal and preaching service for this coming Wednesday at 6:30 pm. The plan is to be a blessing to people who otherwise wouldn’t have a Thanksgiving meal with family or friends. I will be speaking and presenting the gospel so please pray that many will be receptive to the gospel message.
Village
The village construction has slowed a little due to the need to raise additional funds. The next steps are (1) setting up the office (2) installing the first septic system (3) hauling in about 30 more loads of dirt and about 10 more loads of rock for the middle road.
We have also seeded the entire property and we need some rain! It has been too dry for the seed to germinate. I would appreciate your prayers for the village needs.
Philippines
Christmas is right around the corner and we always make a big deal about it in our children’s ministries in the Philippines. This year our team is planning a special Christmas party and gifts for over 400 children. The gifts will be food that can feed the whole family for a couple of days. It will be a real help and blessing to the children and their families.
For $25, you can sponsor the gift for one child. It’s always a blessing to see the smiles on the kid’s faces and know that we had a small part in making their Christmas enjoyable. Please help us pray that all the children will be sponsored this Christmas. If you are able to help one or two it would be greatly appreciated!
