Tiny home village update

Last week we had some surveying done at the tiny-home village. They laid out the location of the next seven homes, the next septic system, the laundry facility and the tractor shed. 

We have another home on order right now, which will make number five. By God’s provision, it is already fully funded! 

We are going to tackle the septic system next which is needed in order for house number five, (the Ski Lodge), to be able to be used. The Lord has provided more than half of the money for this system! 

Once that septic system is complete, the next big project will be our laundry facility. This is needed because many of our residents will not have their own transportation and the homes will not have washers and dryers in them. We will need to raise all the money for this project when the time comes. 

Some of you have heard by now that we have a couple living at the village. They are our very first residents and program participants. We brought them into the program about a month ago as a “soft opening” and they are doing well. We are still not scheduled to open for others until the first quarter of next year. We are using this time to learn and grow. 

As of now, all of the major things we needed to accomplish prior to opening next year have been completed. God is so good and we are also grateful for everyone who has given to get us to this point.
